Precision Long Range Class I – Day 1-Classroom

$100.00 deposit reserves your spot. Please drop by range or call to reserve. No spaces can be held without a minimum $100 deposit.

Maximum of 10 shooters per class

Age: 18 and older

Held on Saturday & Sunday:

  • Saturday at Bullseye Shooting Range in classroom from 10AM-4PM
  • Sunday at the outdoor range shooting 100 to 1000 yards – meeting time announced.

Class Overview:

If you have ever wanted to be able to make that 1000 yard shot everybody talks about, this is the class for you. Not only will we teach you how to make that shot, we teach you how to repeat it. This class is for any shooter wanting to learn how to shoot long range with an emphasis on Practical/Tactical (PRS Style) match shooting.

Day 1:

  • This class will teach the beginning long range shooter the fundamentals of how to set up your rifle and impact targets out to 1000 yards.
  • We will cover proper equipment selection including rifle, scopes, and required accessories.
  • Then you will learn how to use the equipment.
  • Bring your rifle and ammunition Day 1 if you are planning on using it for Day 2

Day 2:

  • At the range shooting 100 to 1000 Yards!
  • We will also be doing a Mini-Match.

What you will need:

NOTHING! We will provide everything, including the rifles. Ammo will be provided to a certain amount (50 rounds).

Students are welcome to bring their rifles and ammo as long as they meet these requirements:

  • Good 100 yard zero
  • Scope must have external adjustable turrets
  • GEOBallistics Calculator

If you have any questions about your equipment and if it can be used or not please give us a call.

CALIBER RESTRICTION:

  • Nothing bigger than 300 WIN MAG
  • Bullet cannot exceed 3200 FPS

If you were wanting to shoot more you can always purchase more of our provided ammo.

Concealed Carry – 1 Day Class

Concealed Carry - 1 Day Class @ Bullseye Shooting Range

Class Overview:

It is strongly recommended that the student have some prior knowledge on how to safely manipulate and shoot a handgun.

Successful completion of this course allows you the opportunity to apply to the State of Kansas to be a concealed carry permit holder. The class includes an introduction to handgun shooting that addresses Kansas law, street threats, basic handgun safety to develop judgmental shooting skills, and a FREE yearly single membership to Bullseye. Instruction is provided by an NRA Certified and State of Kansas approved Instructor.

To sign up: Please drop by or call us (316-686-7264) to sign up. If you wish, you can reserve a spot with a $45.00 deposit. Minimum class size(5) – Maximum (20).

Cost: $85.00 Please be prepared to pay instructor separately. ($45.00 cash, check, or credit card to Bullseye + $40.00 Cash or Check paid to instructor.)

Age: 18 and older (as per Kansas Law)

Class Length: 8 hour class, taught in one day.

Class Includes: Range Fees, NRA TQ 15 Targets, Forms required to apply for permits.

Requirements:

  1. Handgun and 25 rounds of ammunition
  2. Eye and Ear protection (provided if needed)
  3. Photo ID (must be government issued)
  4. U. S. Citizen or lawfully present in the U.S.
  5. Must be at least 21 years of age
  6. Not under indictment or been convicted of a felony in the U.S. or elsewhere
  7. Not convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence
  8. Not under court order (order of protection, harassment, etc.)
  9. Not a fugitive from justice
  10. Not a user of or addicted to any controlled substances
  11. Not been dishonorably discharged from the Armed Forces
  12. Have never renounced U. S. citizenship
  13. Do not suffer from mental illness and have not been adjudicated mentally incompetent
  14. It is recommended that the student seek qualified instruction and practice the qualification test prior to class date.
  15.  If you are 18-20 years old, you will need to bring your own firearm and ammunition. Bullseye is not able to sell ammunition or handguns to anyone under 21 years old per federal law.

The class includes an introduction to handgun shooting that addresses Kansas law, street threats, basic handgun safety to develop judgmental shooting skills, and a FREE yearly single membership at Bullseye. Instruction is provided by an NRA Certified and State of Kansas approved Instructor.
